EuroTrip – Post 2

So sorry for this late post but we were extremely busy. I think you know why. So after our tour in Paris we had the longest journey ever.  We left Paris at 10 AM. We had spent more than 14 hours in our comfy car when finally we arrived at the next accommodation in South France,  in Marseille. I think this day gonna be always memorable. Somehow we couldn`t check in our hotel, in Marseille at arrival. It was a self-check in and out system but luckily there was another hotel next our booked one so we went to bed at 4.00 AM. We slept well and in the morning we continued our travelling. It was only 1 and half hour driving. We checked in our nice and cool room and run to the beach. We loved it. Just lying on the beach, swimming, reading. We had spent 1 and half day in this lovely town called Le Lavandou. I would like to go back one day. It`s quite and not crowded tourist centre. They don`t speak really well in English so I really recommend to have a basic French skills if you go there.  Or you can try out nice French foods…We did it…without English menu and only with one waiter who is able to speak a basic English it can be a lovely challenging French dinner. No chance to figure out what are you going to eat. There is only one moment when you face to your order when your waiter bring it you. It`s an unforgettable memory. That was the moment when my Peter realized he doesn`t like seafood.  😀

After this lovely beach days we had one night in Nice. Having an amazing view of the airport from your hotel room is fascinating.

On Friday morning we left France. Honestly I was really excited to see Venice. Venice and Le Lavandou were my favourite stops. So I couldn`t wait to get Italy.  Venice is magical…I were constantly taking photos. We walked a lot but couldn`t view everything. We did have a good typical Italian dinner.  Probably we couldn`t choose the best one but the feeling was lovely.

Next morning we start our last long way driving. It was  only 6-7 hours… which is not too bad. Unfortunately we had the worst traffic jam from Venice to Slovenia. Boys were really cheeky and they did a short cut so luckily we survived this 4-5 hours delay.

To summarize everything it was the best long driving trip ever. We had seen so many enchanting buildings and met different people who were so helpful even when we got lost our couldn`t use the self-check-and-pay French-petrol station.

As soon as we get home we are happy to see you, our friends and tell more about our trip and show pictures.

Take care
